The word "cyberspace" was coined by science-fiction writer William Gibson. The term was originally intended as a metaphor for virtual reality, but this more specific definition has fallen out of use and "cyberspace" has now become synonymous with related terms such as Internet and World Wide Web. As an example of its use as a synonym, anything said to exist either on the Internet or the World Wide Web can also be said to exist in Cyberspace.

The opposing space to Cyberspace is [[Meatspace]].

Although Cyberspace is coined as a term that is assosciated mainly with the Internet and the World Wide Web. The term Cyberspace is actually applicable to most electronic equipment. Cyberspace is the term used when attempting to describe using a physical and tangible thought where digital data flows between networks. In order to perveive Cyberspace, one must not think of it as a physical place for example a room whereby you could walk into and say you are in cyberspace. But rather it is a conceptual idea where a term is given to a place that does not really exist in physical space but rather only in a theoretical and mathematical point of view.

I'm a pretty keen sportsman and enjoy Rugby mostly. During the off-season however I get pretty into Mixed Martial Arts. I'm also currently working part-time as a Doorman at some of the bigger clubs in the City like Degree, SpyBar, Ponsonby Social Club and whole bunch more. Anybody reading this might have seen me at one of those doors and hopefully not asking them to leave. If I have asked you to leave don't hold it against me... I'm just doing my job.
