C# (Pronounced C-Sharp) is a type safe, object-oriented, multiparadigm language which runs on the .NET framework. It has a similar syntax to languages such as C, C++, and Java (also known as "curly brace" languages). It has many features, more of which will be available in version 4.0, expected to be released in the first half of 2010.
