what is wiki markup

From my understanding wiki markup is a little bit like html where you have certain rules or language to tell the text editor how to display text.

Please feel free to edit this if you have more to contribute.

making a list. shift 3 and list details will produce a list. e.g see my list as below ,

  1. wiki markup = 1
  2. wiki markup = 2
  3. wiki markup = 4
