Test
- The test is worth 20% of your final mark.
- Date and Time (Provisional): Wednesday 28th January from 12:30-1:30pm
- Location: Room 260-098 in the Owen G. Glenn Building, 12 Grafton Rd
- Please arrive by 12:15pm as you will be given reading time.
- Please notify Ann Cameron if you have a test clash
Final Exam
- The final exam is worth 65% of your final mark.
- The date of the final exam will announced closer to the date
- It is a 2 hour exam. Please check nDeva for a confirmation of the date and time.
- Examination room lists will be posted online and on Campus noticeboards by 5.00pm the day before your examination.
Final Learning Outcomes
- A student who successfully completes this course should:
- have confidence with and a general knowledge of personal computers
- be able to write and debug simple computer programs
- be able to use some common applications, e.g. spreadsheets, word processing, databases
- have knowledge of the Internet and its social issues, as well as other types of networks
- be able to design and write a simple web page
- have a basic understanding of the origins and design of computing hardware and software
