== About Me ==

I am a 5th year Bachelor of Commerce and Arts student majoring in Finance, Marketing, Economics and Statistics.

I am taking COMPSCI 111 this semester because I have a free paper in my degree and I heard that this is a "pretty easy" paper. I know, hard work has never killed anyone… but why take a chance?

== My Interests ==

Aside from spending an unusual length of time at the University of Auckland, my interests include:

#Tennis
#Cycling
#Hiking
#Traveling
#Social entrepreneurship

I am particularly interested in the concept of ''' microfinance''' - an area of economic development that uses the provision of financial services (such as small loans) as a tool to lift communities in developing countries out of poverty.

If this sounds interesting to you, check out the [http://aucklandmicrofinance.org Auckland Microfinance Initiative]. They are a student club based at the University of Auckland that gives students an opportunity to apply their skills in making a difference through microfinance.
I didn't really know how to tie this into my user page, but I need it for Lab02. So…
