Eid Celebration in Malaysia
HI! I am Ainul from Malaysia. I am studying BSc of Physics. I want to share my tradition in celebrating Eid in my country. As a Muslim, we celebrate Eid alFitr after completing a fasting month. In Malaysia, most of us will go back to our hometown to celebrate it with our family. During Eid, we will visit each other and spend time together. We also have large feast and it is common to organize an open house.
Malaysian cuisine during Eid
Each of state in Malaysia will have slightly different menu during Eid. Generally, the main dish are:
- ketupat
- lemang
- rendang
