Hi, if there's one thing you should know about me, it's that I love baking.

Ingredients:

  • 150 g all purpose flour
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 7 eggs separated
  • 55 ml vegetable oil
  • 150 ml milk
  • Mocca aroma essence

  1. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  2. In a separate bowl, sift all dry ingredients.
  3. Whisk in the egg yolks with the dry ingredients.
  4. Add in milk and oil and mix until batter smooth.
  5. Mix egg whites in.
  6. Divide batter into 2 portions (one portion slightly larger than the other).
  7. Put a couple drops of mocca aroma essence into the small batter and mix well.
  8. Pour a layer of plain batter into a lined tin and cover the layer with mocca batter.
  9. Pour remaining plain batter into tin and bake at 180C for 50-60 min.
