Akshaiy
My Name is Akshaiy Narayanan. When I am not studying, I indulge in several pastimes out of which the most common are sports, books, movies and books.
My pastimes
Books
I read books written by
- Jeffrey Archer, J.K.Rowling, R.K.Narayan, Dan Brown, Roald Dahl, Enid Blyton, Arthur Canon Doyle etc.
I usually read at night or while waiting for my mode of transport. I like books dealing with science fiction, thrillers, suspense, adventure, comedy, religious fiction, patriotism etc. I also read sports books.
Sports
I like playing sports such as cricket, badminton, table tennis, tennis and soccer.
My favourite sport is cricket. I am a medium pace bowler. My favourite cricketers are Glenn McGrath, Shane Bond, Shanthakumaran Sreesanth , Shoaib Akthar, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Herschelle Gibbs, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Chaminda Vaas, Kevin Pieterson and James Anderson.
Music
I play the western and carnatic flute and sing in the carnatic and western style.
My favourite Carnatic flautists are S.Shashank, N. Ramani and Mali.
