Computer science 111/111G course is a practical introduction to computing that includes topics such as: web site design, an overview of computer hardware and operating systems, effective use of common applications, using the Internet as a communication medium, applying programming concepts, and social implications of technology. The practicle component of the course for example the labs makes it an educating and enjoyable learning experience. The labs also provide an opprtuntity for students to socialise.
