Caramel Pudding Cake Easy Way Recipe
The cake is the combination of the sponge cake and caramel pudding. It is unique in such a way that these two mixtures are baked together even though they are of different textures.
Ingredients
- Mixture A
- 7 egg whites
- 1/2 teaspoon of cream of tartar
- 50g castor sugar
 
- Mixture B
- 2 egg yolks
- 50g castor sugar
- 150g of flour
- 1/2 cup of corn oil
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
 
- Mixture C
- a tin of evaporated milk
- 70g of castor sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
- 5 egg yolks
- 1 egg
 
- Mixture D
- 5 tablespoons of sugar (to be made caramelized)
 
Steps-by-steps
- beat Mixture A till it has a meringue texture. Set aside.
- mix Mixture B by using ladle. There's no need to use the mixer. Set aside
- Do the same for Mixture C. Set aside.
- Heat Mixture D in the pan until it caramelized. Set aside and let it cool down.
- Pour Mixture C onto the caramelized sugar (Mixture D). Set aside.
- Mix Mixture A and "'Mixture B together before pour them into the pan.
- if you want a colourful sponge cake, you can add the colouring into the Mixture A and '"Mixture B before pouring them into pan
 
- Remember to preheat the oven at 150 degree celcius and use the double boiler method to bake the cake. Bake the cake for an hour.
- Let it cool down and it is ready to serve!
