Mike Barley

Current Position

I am currently a Senior Lecturer in the Computer Science Department at the University of Auckland. My primary interest is in artificial intelligence, specifically in creating problem-solvers that use abstraction, approximation, simplification, and reformulation to help solve complex and difficult problems. If you have any questions or interest in this topic, feel free to come talk with me about them.
