A word that I've come to like is the word Sonder . It's the sudden realization that every person that passes you by has a life that is just as complex as your own. This could include things like Friends, family situations, Passions, Goals, and even problems. The word was created by John Koenig, apart of a series of words The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows he created that represent complex feelings into a single word. Something about it seems so spectacular.
