Why such interest in sports?
Because its unscripted. Its real. Except for the DAMN refs that ruin the game at times, its usually unpredictable. I mean who would have predicted that down 3 games to none in a 7 game series, the Boston Red Sox would storm back and win its next 4 games consecutively to eliminate their arch-rivals, the New York Yankees, from the 2004 American League Championship Series and go on to win their first World Series title in over 80 years. You're damn right its goddamn unbelievable! And that makes it better TV than anything a director could ever come up with!!
