GIMP is freely available image editing software. It has similar capabilities to Adobe Photoshop. It comes in many languages and can work on many operating systems such as Microsoft Windows and Linux. GIMP supports many image formats, for example JPEG (JFIF), GIF, PNG and TIFF.
