Biomedical Science

This is a three year degree and you can continue doing honours or postgraduate diploma which will lead to you Phd ultimately.

Options within Biomedical science

Entry into medicine for first year is an option or finishing your degree and reapplying is another option. Within the degree there are many different specializations which require different papers to be taken at second year level, some of which are listed below:

Cancer Biology & Therapeutics 

   * Must take:
  1. BIOSCI 201-203
  2. MEDSCI 205
  3. MEDSCI 204
  4. MEDSCI 203


Cardiovascular Biology 

   * Must take:
  1. BIOSCI 201-203
  2. MEDSCI 205, 206 
   * should take:
    1. MEDSCI 201 Or MEDSCI 203
    2. MEDSCI 204
