Glen Robertson

Current Position

I'm a PhD student studying Artificial Intelligence for games under the supervision of Ian Watson. More specifically, I'm looking at how to make a computer learn to play a very complex game (such as StarCraft) without any prior knowledge of how the game works, simply by observing human play (ie. analysing replays). I have been working on this for a little over a year now, so I probably have a little over two years to go before I am finished.

Previous Activities

In previous years I have tutored SOFTENG250 (Data Structures and Algorithms) and COMPSCI367 (Artificial Intelligence) and supervised labs for ENGGEN131 (Introduction to Engineering Computation and Software Development). I have done a summer internship with Orion Health and one with Google, and was a Google Student Ambassador last year.
