A web browser is an application used to access the WWW
Of the 5 major web browsers in use today:
- Mozilla Firefox - 47.9%
- Internet Explorer - 39.4%
- Google Chrome - 6.5%
- Safari - 2.1%
- Opera - 3.3%
It has been found that the safest of the three to use is Google Chrome as its design makes it almost impossible for people to infiltrate your computer. At a recent competition called Pwn2Own, hackers were able to exploit Firefox and Internet Explorer in under a minute.
