I just wrote an angry blog about the Owen G. Glenn parking building and I am still fuming. Who do they think we are?

To Sum Up some key points of my argument:

  1. The time clocks at the entrance to the Owen G. Glenn building are set ten minutes slow, while the pay stations operate on normal time. This means every time you use the building you pay for an extra ten minutes.
  2. Since students have to pay by the hour, this means an hour = 50 minutes.
  3. Class is 50 minutes long. This means that in order to have to pay for only one hour of parking, you must leave your class at least ten minutes early.
  4. Staff can pay by the minute. It is only the students hurt by this system
  5. The parking lot advertises 'early bird' cards, but don't try to buy your card in the parking lot. You must go to student central or the clocktower, which incidentally are out of early bird cards, have been for some time, and will remain as such for some time to come.
