- Jan 2012 – One week collecting invertebrates from Te Hauturu-o-Toi (Little Barrier Island).
- Nov 2012– One week gathering endemic carnivorous plants in a swamp near Kaitaia.
- Dec 2012– Two weeks amassing leaf litter from the Waitakere Ranges vegetation plots in the Auckland region.
- Jan 2013/ Feb 2013 – Two, one week trips, trapping and collecting rats on Motu (Island) Kaikoura.
- Apr 2013– One week re-gathering leaf litter from vegetation plots on Little Barrier Island.
